Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and drive programmes of work for CMA Business Risk, including material external trigger events, internal read-across and identified control issues.
  • •Serve as the primary point of contact for CMA management teams on existing and emerging conduct-related issues across CMA.
  • •Oversee non-financial and financial risk management across the CMA product portfolio, ensuring proactive control, remediation, and identification of emerging risks.
  • •Manage a robust risk governance framework to keep key risks within risk appetite, assessing risks and controls and surfacing priority areas to senior leadership and risk stewards.
  • •Coordinate CMA Risk Management governance meetings, design and embed an escalation framework, and secure resources and budget for key projects and remediation activity.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant knowledge of CMA product groups including Debt Capital Markets, Structured Finance, Leverage Acquisition Finance, Structured Equity Finance and Corporate Risk Solutions.
  • •Strong knowledge of Corporate and Institutional Banking with an established understanding of investment banking risks.
  • •Experience in frontline banking and/or risk management.
  • •Background in Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, Legal and/or Regulatory Change within a banking context.
  • •Demonstrated delivery of complex projects across multiple jurisdictions using structured project management approaches, including partnering with senior stakeholders and managing/developing high-performing teams.
