Job Summary

The Civil Inspector will monitor and inspect civil construction activities for the SWRO desalination project in the UAE, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. You’ll support QA/QC, coordinate with contractors and engineers, and uphold high construction standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct routine site inspections of civil works including foundations, concrete structures, pipelines, tanks, and marine works (intake/outfall).
•Ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
•Monitor workmanship and materials to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
•Verify alignment, levels, dimensions, and structural integrity of works.
•Witness and record tests such as concrete pouring, compaction, and material testing.

Key Requirements

•Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
•Minimum 8–12 years of experience in civil inspection works for construction or infrastructure projects.
•Previous experience in SWRO desalination or large water treatment projects is preferred.
•Strong knowledge of concrete works, structural inspection, and marine construction.
•Familiarity with international codes and standards (ACI, ASTM, BS).
