Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and own supplier quality strategy, standards, and governance for Europe, translating objectives into preventive supplier quality programs.
  • •Lead qualification and development of new and existing suppliers, defining methods and acceptance criteria for complex assessments.
  • •Ensure supplier compliance with European regulatory and customer requirements (including quality and ESG standards).
  • •Drive systemic root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (8D, DMAIC) and coordinate cross-functional teams to closure.
  • •Establish supplier scorecards and KPIs, develop risk-mitigation strategies, lead audits/workshops, and provide technical authority by coaching supplier quality engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (Master’s advantage).
  • •Minimum 8 years’ progressive experience in supplier quality, quality assurance, or manufacturing (6 years with a Master’s), preferably in a European supply-chain environment.
  • •Recognized subject-matter expertise in quality systems and tools such as PPAP, APQP, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and 8D.
  • •Proven continuous-improvement experience using Lean/Six Sigma methods (Green or Black Belt preferred).
  • •Fluency in English; willingness to travel extensively across Europe (approx. 30%).
