Job Summary

Architect role with Architecture49 in the GTA team focusing on designing world‑class transportation facilities and sports/entertainment venues. Lead a team of architects and consultants, coordinate multi-disciplinary efforts, ensure BIM compliance (REVIT, AutoCAD, Bluebeam) and integrate materials/technologies.Travel to remote First Nation communities and work sites, oversee project delivery within cost, schedule and quality targets, and liaise with clients in the Greater Toronto Area.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage a team in producing architectural design solutions and construction drawings.
•Manage a group of architectural staff, leading project meetings, and coordinating all other building disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects.
•Perform internal reviews and quality checks of the models and drawings to ensure compliance with BIM standards.
•Research materials, products and technologies required for the design and incorporate into the details, specification and other documents.
•Travel to remote First Nation communities and work sites.

Key Requirements

•Registered architect in Ontario (OAA), or eligibility to be registered.
•7+ years experience in a similar role.
•Familiarity with Provincial and National related standards and codes.
•Knowledge of BIM principles & workflows, REVIT software, AutoCAD software, Microsoft 365 environment and Bluebeam.
•Experience or familiarity with Visualization software and Adobe Creative Suite would be an asset.
