Key Responsibilities

  • •End-to-end responsibility of customer projects: engage with IT decision-makers, understand challenges, infrastructure, and business processes to design fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • •End-to-end architecture and design: own the architecture of modern data platforms from requirements to implementation, integration, and optimization.
  • •Hands-on implementation: contribute to prototyping, POCs, or full solutions and integrate them into the client IT landscape.
  • •Portfolio development and solution asset management: advance the data platform portfolio and curate reusable components, reference architectures, and best practices.
  • •Market and technology scouting: monitor the Data Engineering/Data Management/Data Platform market, evaluate new technologies, and assess relevance for Atos offerings.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Management or related fields with >5 years of professional experience.
  • •Extensive hands-on experience with modern data platforms and data management concepts (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, MS Fabric, Apache Iceberg) and data products.
  • •Deep knowledge of DataGovernance concepts and data governance tools (IBM Knowledge Catalog, Unity Catalog, Collibra, OSS Datahub/OpenMetadata).
  • •Ability to develop transitions from on-premise to cloud-based data platforms and lead portfolio development and solution assets.
  • •High mobility (national) to travel to client sites as required.
