Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop verification/validation strategies, including test cases, test plans, and test strategy for functional and non-functional requirements.
  • •Participate in requirement reviews and derive acceptance criteria; coordinate with offering teams to validate products against acceptance criteria.
  • •Plan and execute testing activities in scrum, estimate efforts, raise defects, and conduct defect triage.
  • •Design regression testing strategy using impact analysis of fixed defects and identify automation/simulation needs early in the lifecycle.
  • •Create and maintain automated test scripts using Python (e.g., PyTest/Robot Framework), provide debug support, and maintain daily/weekly defect reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor or Master of Engineering in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical.
  • •7-9 years of experience in project engineering/testing in a relevant industry space.
  • •At least 5 years of experience leading technical and delivery activities.
  • •Strong fire alarm systems domain competency, including hands-on installation, commissioning, and maintenance of fire alarm systems (Preferred Honeywell fire panels).
  • •Proficiency in test automation, including programming (Python) and experience with PyTest (and CI/CD tools); knowledge of fire detector principles and applications is required.
