Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate on design/build or alternative delivery roadway projects and megaprojects across the southern US
  • •Develop roadway designs and drawings (CAD) and assist with roadway modeling efforts
  • •Apply roadway design calculations including Superelevation, Stopping Sight Distance, and Acceleration/Deceleration lanes
  • •Utilize Bentley MicroStation/Open Roads to produce compliant design outputs
  • •Adhere to the 2018 AASHTO Green Book guidelines and state DOT requirements

  • •BS in Engineering or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience (Roadway CAD Designers & Roadway Modelers)
  • •Junior Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency
  • •Mid-Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency
  • •Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads: BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency
  • •Preferred: EIT Certification or PE License; State DOT experience
