Production Optical Assembly Technician

Assemble and align complex optical and optomechanical components used in defense systems, following blueprints, engineering drawings, and SOPs. Use specialized alignment equipment (lasers, collimators, interferometers, autocollimators, microscopes) to achieve optical system performance. Maintain accurate production documentation (logs, DHR, checklists) and enter test data into the company database. Diagnose assembly failures or misalignments and collaborate with manufacturing engineers on corrective actions.
