Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate hospital services during shift and act as focal point for nursing-related healthcare issues
  • •Support senior nursing leadership with clinical/administrative reports, and manage budgets for the unit/ward
  • •Lead and manage clinical practice, including patient flow, staffing/skill mix alignment to acuity, and nursing documentation quality standards
  • •Promote performance improvement and risk management, including audits, accreditation support, KPI/clinical indicator monitoring, and infection control compliance
  • •Lead nursing leadership team, support staff development and education/research programs, and manage incidents after business hours

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree in nursing (or equivalent) with an accredited program and NLT 3 years study duration
  • •Valid/current national nursing license
  • •BLS
  • •NLT 6 years clinical experience in relevant healthcare settings post-qualification
  • •NLT 2 years in a Senior Charge Nurse position, or NLT 3 years in a Charge Nurse position
