Job Summary

Design and review mechanical elements for water and wastewater infrastructure and treatment projects across feasibility, outline, detail, and construction design stages. Perform site surveys, headloss and pumping system analysis, pump selection, and develop plant layouts, specifications, reports, schedules, and P&IDs. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients, support bid proposals, and mentor junior engineers while using digital tools such as BIM and Projectwise.

•Undertake design and review of mechanical elements for wastewater and water infrastructure/treatment projects.
•Conduct site surveys and support liaison with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
•Develop pumping station designs, headloss calculations/pumping system analysis, and pump selection.
•Create plant and pipework layouts plus technical specifications, reports, valve/equipment schedules, lifting strategies, and P&IDs.
•Engage across design stages and collaborate with other discipline teams; delegate tasks and provide technical mentoring while supporting bid proposals and deliverables.

Key Requirements

•Experience managing projects, delegating tasks, and providing technical mentoring.
