Job Summary

Seeking an experienced process engineer to lead hydraulic calculations and front-end process designs for Oil & Gas projects in Wood Colombia’s OGNE unit. You’ll perform process calculations, support refining projects, and model systems using HYSYS, PRO II, and other simulators. Bilingual English/Spanish, with field site visits, and collaboration across disciplines to deliver complex engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform hydraulic calculations and process design activities for Oil & Gas projects
•Conduct field visits to gather information required for project development
•Develop typical engineering documents across project phases (conceptual, basic, detail)
•Create process diagrams and piping/instrumentation diagrams per project specifications
•Model systems and processes using commercial software (HYSYS, STONER, PRO II, etc.) and ensure engineering integrity in interdisciplinary reviews

Key Requirements

•8 years of experience in engineering projects within Oil & Gas sector
•Experience with hydraulic calculations for process systems
•Bilingual in English and Spanish (advanced English)
•Knowledge of process simulations software (e.g., HYSYS, PRO II)
•Experience in refinery processes and documentation basics such as engineering documents
