Mortgage Collector

Counsel mortgage and consumer loan customers in default by initiating contact, making collection/demand calls, and evaluating their situation and collateral risk. Recommend and negotiate loss mitigation and workout alternatives—such as forbearance, repayment plans, modifications, pre-foreclosure options, or deed in lieu—while following investor, company, federal, insurer, and FDCPA/privacy guidelines. Maintain accurate records of collection efforts, handle documentation requests, and escalate cases as needed to achieve resolutions.
