Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage distributed infrastructure and software engineering teams, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
  • •Own execution of the platform and infrastructure roadmap, translating infrastructure strategy into quarterly priorities.
  • •Drive the team’s shift to cloud-native, containerized, orchestrated environments and improve reliability, availability, and performance.
  • •Lead developer productivity initiatives across build, test, deploy, and observability workflows.
  • •Partner with security and platform architecture peers, communicate across teams/geographies, and periodically contribute to technical design/implementation as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of professional infrastructure engineering experience and 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years managing engineers.
  • •Proven cloud-native and platform architecture expertise in containerization, orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code.
  • •Hands-on experience optimizing global performance and security using modern edge and network platforms (e.g., Cloudflare).
  • •Strong systems engineering fundamentals with the ability to assess design trade-offs and identify architectural/application weaknesses.
  • •Experience operating in Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, or Kanban) and working with backend/frontend development in Ruby on Rails, PHP, Python, Golang, Scala, Java, or similar languages.
