Key Responsibilities

•Designing water transmission systems and distribution systems, pumping stations conveyance systems, water treatment systems, water/wastewater master planning.
•Managing project design tasks, permitting, construction coordination, and providing general guidance to junior engineering staff.
•Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams serving as the task lead on various water/wastewater facilities projects.
•Work as an individual or as part of a cross-functional team to execute project work, assist with calculations, permit applications, compliance documentation, and regulatory and technical analysis memos.
•Maintain quality control standards and procedures for accurate design deliverables, analysis, and reporting.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, with a focus in Water/Wastewater or closely related discipline.
•5 to 7 years of relevant post education experience in water/wastewater engineering.
•Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of Texas.
•Expertise in water/wastewater engineering principles, practices, process, and the application to environmental permitting and project work-related issues.
•Knowledge of Texas Commission of Environmental Quality regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
