Key Responsibilities

  • •Designing water transmission systems and distribution systems, pumping stations conveyance systems, water treatment systems, water/wastewater master planning.
  • •Managing project design tasks, permitting, construction coordination, and providing general guidance to junior engineering staff.
  • •Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams serving as the task lead on various water/wastewater facilities projects.
  • •Work as an individual or as part of a cross-functional team to execute project work, assist with calculations, permit applications, compliance documentation, and regulatory and technical analysis memos.
  • •Maintain quality control standards and procedures for accurate design deliverables, analysis, and reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, with a focus in Water/Wastewater or closely related discipline.
  • •5 to 7 years of relevant post education experience in water/wastewater engineering.
  • •Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of Texas.
  • •Expertise in water/wastewater engineering principles, practices, process, and the application to environmental permitting and project work-related issues.
  • •Knowledge of Texas Commission of Environmental Quality regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
