Manager, Life and Health Underwriting

Manage daily operations of the Life and Health Underwriting department, overseeing underwriters who evaluate individual insurance applicants and deliver risk-appropriate solutions. Lead and develop a team, establish individual approval authority (up to $5M), and drive process improvements and organizational change. Partner on new underwriting policies and provide timely feedback to senior stakeholders. Handle complex customer service complaints in compliance with state regulators and NAIC guidelines.
