Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor and resolve import shipment issues with internal and third parties (freight forwarders, customs brokers, government agencies), escalating to management when needed.
  • •Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and improvements, implementing aligned solutions to achieve operational excellence.
  • •Review and resolve data accuracy for valuation, country of origin, unit of measure, and classification.
  • •Interact with internal and third parties to obtain supporting documents for import clearance activities.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 3 years of experience in a related field, with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Working knowledge of and experience with U.S. CBP and FTR laws/regulations and practical import compliance processes, procedures, and policies.
  • •Understanding of PGA requirements including FDA, USDA, and EPA for import activities and clearance.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively with professionals across organizational levels and operate within a team environment.
  • •Proficient in Excel and data analytics/visualization, with strong analytical/problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
