Key Responsibilities

  • •Travel in the field and at job sites as needed, working in the shop as required (CDL a plus).
  • •Plan work procedures (scheduling) and coordinate possible solutions such as parts and PM service with the Equipment Manager.
  • •Troubleshoot and maintain heavy equipment including dump trucks, pavers, reclaim and milling machines, loaders, graders, dozers, and rollers.
  • •Examine equipment and discuss the nature and extent of damage or malfunction with the superintendent, operator, or project manager.
  • •Ensure the equipment team follows safety best practices and comply with company policies; conduct safety training and toolbox talks.
