Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide electrical engineering design consultancy for transmission and distribution projects from concept through to detailed design
  • •Contribute to High Voltage power systems analysis, cabling, substations, and interconnectors including offshore links
  • •Engage with internal and external clients, colleagues, stakeholders and subcontractors to discuss technical issues and capture feedback
  • •Support the UK grid modernization programme and projects under the Great Grid initiative
  • •Collaborate within a hybrid work environment to deliver high-quality engineering outcomes

Key Requirements

  • •An electrical/electronic/power engineering qualification (HNC/HND/BSc/BEng and/or MSc/MEng)
  • •Demonstrable electrical engineering design consultancy experience on transmission and distribution projects
  • •Working knowledge of BS and/or Eurocodes for relevant engineering design standards
  • •Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, stakeholders and sub-contractors, both verbally and in writing
