Job Summary

Lead cost management for civil and building projects in Egypt, overseeing quantities, cost planning, and commercial activities from inception to final account. Coordinate with site and technical teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure timely payment applications, cash flow forecasting, and cost-to-complete reporting. Leverage CCS Candy, SAP, and ERP tools to optimize profitability while maintaining client/subcontractor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

•Obtain and expand knowledge base on Civil and Building matters for specific projects and ensure alignment with Company procedures.
•Administer subcontractors and manage site instructions and variation orders; coordinate with site and technical teams for progress details.
•Prepare and submit payment applications to Employer by due dates and monitor cash flow and budget on a monthly basis.
•Prepare backup documentation and justification for Client Instructions and interim valuations; produce cost-to-complete and profitability projections.
•Coordinate packages, tender procedures, and changes to scope with signed off variation orders and back-to-back with main contracts.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering; Professional Qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field
•Minimum 8 years of QS experience; 5 years relevant experience; GCC experience is a plus
•Experience with computer-based quantification; CCS Candy; AutoCAD for quantity takeoff; SAP/ERP skills preferred
•Knowledge of Bill of Quantities, International Methods of Measurement (NRM2, QSSM, QCS, FIDIC) and cost/value reconciliations
•Ability to administer subcontractors, manage variations and client/site instructions, and ensure timely payment applications and documentation
