Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure management of CNC equipment from setup to operation to produce parts and tools from metal and plastic resources
  • •Monitor machinery, inspect finished products, and lead test runs
  • •Set up and manage CNC machines to perform jobs including drilling, grinding, and milling
  • •Oversee machines during execution, make necessary adjustments, and ensure quality aligns with engineering drawings and client standards
  • •Perform daily maintenance and cleaning, record production/quality logs, conduct regular CNC machine assessments, and ensure safety and quality compliance

Key Requirements

  • •Trade School Accreditation/high school diploma or equivalent
  • •Certificate or diploma in Engineering (advantage)
  • •Minimum 5 years’ experience as a CNC milling or turning machine operator/CNC machinist in machining or aerospace manufacturing
  • •Proven experience translating mechanical documents and engineering drawings
  • •Understanding of GD&T and reading engineering drawings
