•Support the Operations Section Manager with personnel administration, strategic planning, and staff planning while working with Service Delivery, Architecture, and Security teams.
•Mentor network operations engineers in applying current/emergent technologies, agile IT, ITIL, and continuous improvement practices.
•Serve as shift lead “queue manager” to ensure escalated issues are efficiently assigned and actively worked to meet SLAs.
•Perform baselines of data center and colocation systems using discovery tools such as ScienceLogic.
•Monitor hosted system growth trends (e.g., Biowulf) and recommend resource adjustments as part of capacity planning to ensure availability of required resources.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 85,000 - 99,403 annually

Key Requirements

•High school with CCIE (Data Center) plus 5+ years of equivalent data center operational experience, or CCNP (Data Center) plus 10+ years equivalent experience.
•Mentoring experience for network operations engineers applying current/emergent technologies, agile IT, ITIL, and continuous improvement practices.
•Ability to perform shift lead duties as a “queue manager” to ensure escalated issues are assigned, worked, and resolved to meet SLAs.
•Experience conducting baselines of data center and colocation systems using discovery tools such as ScienceLogic.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
