Key Responsibilities

•Operate plant machinery as directed while following safety policies and procedures.
•Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
•Set stops or guides to specific lengths and observe operation to detect defects or malfunctions.
•Review product for inconsistencies/abnormal appearance to ensure quality requirements are met.
•Perform routine machine maintenance and assist other operators; maintain housekeeping in assigned area.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma/equivalent or at least 1 month of related trades experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
•Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals.
•Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
•Basic math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
•Experience with Microsoft Suite (including Word and Excel) and maintain high accuracy in work assignments.
