Key Responsibilities

  • •Support HVAC and heat rejection system design for data centers and mission-critical environments, including cooling loads, redundancy concepts, phased expansion, airflow management, humidity control, and energy efficiency.
  • •Select and lay out cooling solutions such as CRAH/CRAC units, chilled water systems, DX systems, in-row cooling, fan wall units, and basic containment strategies.
  • •Perform cooling and heating load calculations using industry tools, under supervision when required.
  • •Assist in designing chilled water plants, precision cooling systems, and mechanical ventilation systems, including preliminary equipment sizing and component selection.
  • •Develop HVAC schematics, basic system architectures, single-line control diagrams, and P&IDs; support technical drawings/specifications and modeling in Revit with clash detection support using Revit and/or Navisworks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • •Around 5 years of experience in HVAC and mechanical building services design for buildings, industrial, or critical facilities.
  • •Exposure to data centers, mission-critical, or high-reliability HVAC systems.
  • •Familiarity with HVAC ventilation and chilled water systems, thermal load calculations, equipment sizing, and ASHRAE/general HVAC design standards.
  • •Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or mechanical calculation software and Revit for HVAC modeling.
