Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect site conditions before construction to confirm compatibility with approved designs and permanent works.
  • •Verify delivered materials against approved samples, specifications, and equipment lists; report non-conformances to the Resident Engineer.
  • •Ensure materials are properly stored and protected; inspect temporary and permanent works for compliance with contract documents and approved shop drawings.
  • •Maintain accurate daily inspection logs, test reports, and site records per Contract Administration Procedures Manual.
  • •Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Site Observation Reports (SORs), coordinate with third-party testing laboratories, and support approvals, RFIs, punch lists, testing, commissioning, and handover.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant technical field.
  • •5+ years of relevant experience in laboratory materials testing, including field inspection of samples and materials.
  • •Middle East experience preferred.
  • •DCL approval is preferred.
  • •Relevant experience in comparable roads, NDRC, stormwater, sewerage lines, pump station, irrigation works, etc.
