Key Responsibilities

  • •Own a product vertical end-to-end, driving outcomes and metrics, defining acceptance criteria, and prioritizing the backlog by value, risk, dependency, and strategy.
  • •Shape the technical design with engineering across money-movement correctness (idempotency, ledgering, reconciliation), third-party rails, and failure/retry/refund paths.
  • •Make and defend hard trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and UX with engineering, compliance, or ops leads.
  • •Treat regulated constraints as first-class product inputs, including licensing scope, CDD/KYC, limits, sanctions/PEP screening, transaction monitoring, data residency, and privacy.
  • •Apply AI where it earns its place by defining permitted decision-making, human-in-the-loop controls, evaluation approach, and behavior when uncertain.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience owning a complex technical product end-to-end, with strong judgment under ambiguity and decisiveness.
  • •Solid technical foundation in system design, including boundaries, datastores, queues/workflows, APIs, failure modes, and consistency under concurrency.
  • •Experience in a regulated/high-consequence domain such as payments, banking, remittance, or insurance (or demonstrated fast-ramp ability).
  • •Hands-on AI judgment with LLM-based products, including eval framing and realistic understanding of hallucination, drift, and data gaps.
  • •Comfort reading, reviewing, and challenging design docs; able to sketch architecture and sequences.
