Key Responsibilities

  • •Investigate near misses, first aid cases, recordables, lost day injuries, and vehicular accidents within 24 hours, tracking closure on recommendations.
  • •Be visible in the processing plant and other site locations to support safety processes.
  • •Conduct periodic safety and health audits and track findings to ensure closure.
  • •Conduct authorized training on topics including Powered Industrial Trucks, Lockout Tagout, Fall Protection, Respiratory Protection, and Confined Space Entry.
  • •Maintain accurate information in accident, training completion, and corrective action databases and ensure monthly training completion.

Key Requirements

  • •At least three years of directly related experience in an industrial environment.
  • •Solid knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations.
  • •Ability to accurately record and communicate safety incidences to complex management.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; SAP experience is a plus.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related field or experience in lieu of degree.
