Job Summary

Join the Fuel Systems engineering team within the propulsion organization to support integration, development, and certification of fuel systems for transport-category airplanes. You’ll define and verify electronic/electrical requirements, coordinate fuel system interfaces, develop electrical/electronic installation concepts, and perform electromagnetic/electrostatics analysis and certification testing. Generate compliance artifacts and safety/certification documentation while collaborating with suppliers and certification authorities in a hybrid work environment in Brazil.

•Define, validate, verify, and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
•Define, coordinate, and control functional and physical interfaces between the fuel system and the vehicle.
•Develop specifications, architectural and configuration concepts for fuel system electrical/electronic installations to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
•Use testing, analysis, modeling, and simulation tools to estimate system performance and electromagnetic/electrostatics effects.
•Define and perform certification tests and write compliance documentation including functional hazard and system safety assessment reports.
