Job Summary

Own the Building Components & Manufacturing Materials (BCMM) category strategy across a complex, multi-country region. Lead commercial negotiations and supplier relationships for steel, construction accessories, aluminium, insulation, fasteners, glass, timber, and more. Drive cross-divisional sourcing initiatives (tenders, RFx, benchmarking), translate outcomes into savings and process improvements, and act as the category voice across 20+ markets while mentoring category managers and supporting business cases.

•Set and execute end-to-end category strategy across a multi-country region.
•Lead commercial negotiations and build supplier relationships across BCMM spend.
•Run multi-country sourcing initiatives (tenders, RFx events, benchmarking) to deliver savings and process improvements.
•Collaborate across divisions to ensure collective sourcing decisions and shared value.
•Mentor category managers and contribute to budgeting and business case development for investment decisions.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Engineering (Master’s preferred).
•Minimum 8 years of procurement experience in an international setting.
•Minimum 3 years of experience leading category teams or people management.
•Experience managing a regional category in a large, complex, multi-country organisation.
•Fluent written and verbal English; strong strategic thinking, leadership, and experience with source-to-pay, negotiation, and contracting.
