In this apprenticeship, you’ll work on commercial vehicles by communicating with customers, carrying out legal vehicle inspections, and diagnosing faults using computer-supported diagnostic systems. You’ll measure, test, and adjust vehicle systems with electronic diagnostic tools, evaluate components such as drivetrain, brakes, steering, and engine management, and analyze electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. You’ll also disassemble, repair, replace parts, perform service and maintenance, and support quality-assurance work.
