Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate, set up, perform preventative maintenance, and carry out reactive repairs for production plant and equipment.
  • •Ensure processes are maintained and operated safely, including escalating issues affecting safety in the production area.
  • •Provision and adhere to dynamic risk assessments for non-standard operations and tasks.
  • •Operate manufacturing processes and facilities to meet production programme requirements (MMS, efficiency, utilisation, OEE).
  • •Support continuous improvement and help implement quality improvement projects, while supporting apprentices.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 40,677

Key Requirements

  • •Time-served apprenticeship in an engineering function (experience in metal forming or turning environment).
  • •Experience working in a mechanical environment.
  • •Experience setting and operating Power Presses.
  • •Training on a Press Inspection Course to conduct press safety inspection checks.
  • •Ability to operate, maintain, and support production plant and equipment in a safe and quality-focused manner.
