Job Summary

Develop and implement strategic security processes and technical solutions to strengthen the information security program and continuously improve security posture. You will assess risks and changes across F5aaS and enterprise environments, automate security controls using Azure/AWS/GCP, and build/operate security tooling. The role includes penetration and segmentation testing, threat modeling, zero-trust and IAM security patterns, and collaboration with architecture, SRE, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify and mitigate organizational risks to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
•Leverage native cloud services to automate and improve security controls and activities.
•Perform security assessments (static/dynamic analysis, threat modeling) across F5aaS and enterprise cloud hosted, virtual, and on-premise systems.
•Manage penetration and segmentation testing for F5 applications and networks.
•Implement zero-trust and IAM security patterns, build security controls/tools, and advise stakeholders on secure design and best practices.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of progressive responsibility in a security organization.
•2-6 years of relevant security engineering or network security experience.
•B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
•Ability to script in multiple languages (Go, Rust, Python, Ruby, etc.) and build automation scripts.
•Baseline competency administering Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP public cloud infrastructure.
