Job Summary

Lead on-site, hands-on HR for the Foreman site, partnering with business leaders and employees to deliver HR operations and programs. Manage policy interpretation and compliance, talent acquisition and onboarding, orientation, and employee development and performance. Oversee employee and labor relations, including union negotiations, grievances, arbitration, EEOC participation, and leave administration (FMLA/ADA), while maintaining HR records, required reporting, and HRIS accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

•Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines while managing localized HR operations and programs.
•Collaborate with centralized HR on benefits, compensation, talent acquisition, learning and development, rewards, and payroll.
•Manage leaves of absence, workers’ compensation, FMLA, and ADA accommodations, including record maintenance and coordination with agencies/vendors.
•Administer affirmative action and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion at the location.
•Oversee employee and labor relations, including disciplinary methods, arbitration, union contract negotiations/interpretations, grievances, EEOC participation, and performance management activities.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 4-year bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business, or related field.
•5+ years of experience in progressive human resource positions with supervisory experience.
•Prior experience working in a unionized environment.
•SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
•Knowledge of applicant tracking systems and ability to use computer programs to generate reports and documentation.
