Key Responsibilities

•Perform comprehensive assessments and accurate diagnoses of ophthalmic conditions, including patient interviews and eye examinations.
•Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans, including medications, laser therapy, or surgery.
•Deliver safe, high-quality clinical care by following clinical protocols, participating in audits, and reporting/investigating adverse events.
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams through meetings and coordinated referrals to support patient care transitions.
•Promote patient safety and satisfaction by implementing patient safety initiatives, monitoring feedback, and communicating care clearly.

Key Requirements

•7+ years of experience in ophthalmology, including diagnosing and managing a wide range of ophthalmological conditions.
•Board Certified in Ophthalmology.
•Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) classification and registration as an Ophthalmology Consultant.
•Strong ability to perform ophthalmology procedures and surgeries and use diagnostic tools including slit-lamp examination, tonometry, and fundus photography.
•Strong understanding of telehealth principles and the ability to provide virtual care in line with best practices.
