Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure contractual obligations are delivered effectively and on time while maintaining compliance with JSP375.
  • •Assess competence of skilled personnel and ensure safe operation under JSP375 and MOD Safe Systems of Work.
  • •Produce high-quality Risk Assessments and Method Statements and provide technical support to site teams, supply chain partners, and end users.
  • •Provide professional advice on MOD Safe Systems of Work, liaise with stakeholders, and identify deficiencies impacting estate safety and compliance.
  • •Supervise, assess, and coach skilled persons; support projects and advising the Senior Management Team; participate in out-of-hours on-call when required.

Key Requirements

  • •Fully qualified Electrical Engineer; ideally hold AP tickets in Electrical (not essential as AP tickets may be provided).
  • •Significant practical experience delivering Safe Systems of Work, particularly managing and operating JSP375.
  • •Comfortable problem-solving and decision-making, working independently across multiple sites.
  • •Experience supervising site operations, managing resources, and leading staff or skilled persons.
  • •A full UK driving license; ability to obtain and maintain SC Clearance as a condition of employment.
