Job Summary

Lead end-to-end technology audits and advisory reviews for regulated payment, lending, and financial technology products across TikTok and ByteDance businesses operating outside China. Own risk-based audit strategy, evaluate payment processing and security controls (including data, integrations, and operational resilience), use data analytics/AI for audit testing, and communicate findings to senior management while tracking remediation through completion.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and execute the global Technology Audit strategy for payment, lending, and other regulated financial products across TikTok and ByteDance businesses outside China.
•Lead complex, risk-based technology audits and advisory reviews from planning through reporting, including scoping, control evaluation, testing, issue development, and executive communication.
•Cover payment and financial product areas including payment technology architecture, end-to-end payment processing, and payment security and integrations.
•Perform technology risk assessments by providing practical, risk-based recommendations addressing root causes across product, engineering, and regulatory requirements.
•Leverage data analytics and AI-based approaches to detect risk signals and perform audit testing; communicate findings and track remediation progress with risk owners and stakeholders.

Key Requirements

•Extensive experience in technology auditing, assessing FinTech, regulated payment, or lending products.
•Strong understanding of payment systems, financial transaction flows, technology architecture, and control environments.
•Experience independently leading complex technology audits or risk reviews from planning through executive reporting.
•Proven analytical ability to assess technology environments against risk outcomes, best practices, internal standards, and external regulatory requirements.
•Ability to provide credible technical challenge and make risk-based decisions in complex, evolving environments.
