Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute the global Technology Audit strategy for payment, lending, and other regulated financial products across TikTok and ByteDance businesses outside China.
  • •Lead complex, risk-based technology audits and advisory reviews from planning through reporting, including scoping, control evaluation, testing, issue development, and executive communication.
  • •Cover payment and financial product areas including payment technology architecture, end-to-end payment processing, and payment security and integrations.
  • •Perform technology risk assessments by providing practical, risk-based recommendations addressing root causes across product, engineering, and regulatory requirements.
  • •Leverage data analytics and AI-based approaches to detect risk signals and perform audit testing; communicate findings and track remediation progress with risk owners and stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience in technology auditing, assessing FinTech, regulated payment, or lending products.
  • •Strong understanding of payment systems, financial transaction flows, technology architecture, and control environments.
  • •Experience independently leading complex technology audits or risk reviews from planning through executive reporting.
  • •Proven analytical ability to assess technology environments against risk outcomes, best practices, internal standards, and external regulatory requirements.
  • •Ability to provide credible technical challenge and make risk-based decisions in complex, evolving environments.
