Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, and optimize high-throughput backend microservices for client data privacy control across applications.
  • •Build and maintain scalable backend systems for real-time tracking, policy enforcement, and auditable data handling.
  • •Translate data protection mandates into automated backend services with measurable metrics and audit logs.
  • •Write clean, high-performance core code and tune low-latency, high-availability distributed systems for high-volume data streams.
  • •Partner with security researchers, privacy architects, product managers, and PDPO to embed privacy-by-design standards into core architectures.

Key Requirements

  • •Completing or recently completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •Proficiency in at least one backend language: Golang, Java, C++, or Python.
  • •Strong computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, operating systems, networking protocols, and database basics.
  • •Ability to abstract complex compliance requirements into clean, scalable system designs.
  • •Preferred: experience via projects, open source, or internships in distributed systems, data governance, API gateways, access controls, or privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs).
