Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, coordinate, and perform preventive and/or predictive maintenance checklists for production equipment, automation, and general building systems.
  • •Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and other maintenance-related problems; assign criticality and prioritize maintenance work.
  • •Maintain and repair distribution center equipment including racking, dock doors, and material handling equipment for steady operations.
  • •Manage maintenance work-orders in computer systems such as CMMS/GSheets and update maintenance logs to maintain quality standards.
  • •Train new hires and oversee Maintenance Associates on complex machine operations; coordinate with external contractors on maintenance and reliability requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Post-secondary Education in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • •Minimum 2 years of Facilities Maintenance experience and at least 1 year in a food processing/service environment or manufacturing industry.
  • •Ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform regular bending, twisting, and walking.
  • •Willing and able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • •Skilled in using basic hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools, with the ability to communicate in English (verbal and written).
