Job Summary

Support classified computing environments 100% onsite by partnering with Information System Security Officers and Managers to ensure compliance with NISPOM Chapter 8, DAAPM, and JSIG policies. Assist with system compliance, auditing, and security plan development, deliver security education and awareness, and help investigate security violations and draft corrective/preventative action reports. May also contribute to security sustainment activities such as change management and media protection.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist with system compliance, auditing, and security plan development for classified computing environments.
•Deliver information systems security education and awareness.
•Investigate information system security violations and prepare reports with corrective and preventative actions.
•Interface with ISSOs and ISSMs and collaborate with facility security, program personnel, and government representatives.
•Assist with security sustainment activities such as hardware/software change management, account management, media protection, and file transfers.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
•Experience in cybersecurity, systems security, or hardening, or Information Technology.
•Compliance-based auditing experience using frameworks and manuals such as RMF, DAAPM, JSIG, and NISPOM (plus examples like FAA, PCI, ISO 9001, or HIPAA).
•Experience working with computer technologies such as databases, operating systems, computer network hardware, software programs, and troubleshooting/electronics.
•Must meet SkillBridge eligibility requirements, including DoD Instruction 1322.29 eligibility and projected honorable discharge.
