Key Responsibilities

  • •Create and execute layout designs based on SME process design, including bottleneck analysis, process line balancing, and labor hour/setup estimates.
  • •Review current layouts, assess space requirements and material flows, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • •Design and recommend efficient layout and flow for people, materials, manufacturing, and equipment; implement layout improvement projects.
  • •Conduct motion/time studies, cycle time and takt time analysis, and line balancing/resource planning.
  • •Drive standard work through Standard Work Procedures and Standard Work Sheets, eliminate waste via continuous improvement, and ensure adherence to EHS practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • •3-5 years of work-related experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Experience using Computer- Aided Design software such as AutoCad or Solidworks.
  • •Knowledge of production process, material flow/layout/process flows, and capacity planning.
  • •Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and Value Stream Mapping, including ability to read CAD drawings.
