Job Summary

Serve as a Cross Technology Managed Services Engineer (L1), acting as the first point of contact to keep client IT infrastructure and systems running. Monitor solutions, troubleshoot and resolve standard, low-complexity incidents, and handle service requests via phone, ITSM tickets, or chat. Perform patching and configuration changes, contribute to disaster recovery testing, and manage shift handovers while escalating issues to maintain zero SLA misses and a positive client experience.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide first-line support as the first point of contact to ensure client IT infrastructure and systems remain operational.
•Proactively monitor infrastructure to identify problems and errors before or as they occur.
•Investigate and resolve first-line incidents, identify root causes, and handle support via phone, ITSM tickets, or chat.
•Carry out maintenance activities including patching and configuration changes across technology domains.
•Participate in disaster recovery functions and tests, perform shift handovers, report and escalate incidents, and aim for efficient resolution with zero SLA misses.

Key Requirements

•Entry-level experience troubleshooting and supporting security, network, data centre, systems, or storage in a medium to large ICT organization.
•Basic knowledge of management agents, redundancy concepts, and ITIL processes.
•Highly disciplined ticket handling, following defined SOPs and acting promptly day to day.
•Try to resolve as many tickets as possible using knowledge articles and provided SOPs.
•Good understanding of using ITSM tools and planning activities with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
