Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate and set manufacturing plant and equipment, including preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
  • •Ensure safe operation of processes and escalate safety issues within the production area.
  • •Conduct and adhere to dynamic risk assessments for non-standard operations and tasks.
  • •Operate manufacturing processes to meet programme requirements using MMS, efficiency, utilisation, and OEE metrics.
  • •Support continuous improvement, implement solutions to safety, quality, and production problems, and motivate apprentices.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 40,677

Key Requirements

  • •Time-served apprenticeship in an engineering function (including experience in metal forming or turning environments).
  • •Experience working in a mechanical environment.
  • •Experience setting and operating power presses.
  • •Trained on a Press Inspection Course (including press safety inspection checks).
  • •Ability to operate safely and support quality standards in manufacturing settings.
