Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and maintain a 12–18 month SRE technical vision and roadmap for Mexico City, sequencing investments and aligning execution across teams.
  • •Drive reliability transformation by establishing SLOs, error budgets, severity frameworks, and operational standards for settlement, observability, and automation.
  • •Pioneer AI and agentic automation approaches to build solutions for alert classification, runbook generation, automated remediation, and incident analysis using Claude Code and LLM frameworks.
  • •Serve as the senior escalation point for complex production incidents, diagnosing cascading failures across distributed systems and ensuring durable fixes.
  • •Architect high-risk operational automation (e.g., certificate rotation, compliance artifact generation, settlement cycle validation) and mentor engineers through design reviews and engineering standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and professional English fluency.
  • •8+ years of experience in SRE, production operations, or reliability engineering, plus DevOps engineering experience.
  • •8+ years of experience with Java, Python, or Go.
  • •6+ years of experience with cloud native technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • •5+ years with container orchestration (Docker or Kubernetes) and Shell/Bash scripting, plus 5+ years of Unix/Linux administration.
