Job Function: Manufacturing & Production Operations

Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and coordinate the workflow on the production lines to achieve production targets according to agreed schedules and quality standards.
  • •Draw up duty roster for operatives allocating work (ensure proper delegation in quality, process & maintenance, coordination and logistics), and authorise overtime.
  • •Troubleshoot production problems that may arise and assist the Production Manager in planning new project work such as positioning of new production lines or machinery.
  • •Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency.
  • •Motivate and guide the subordinates, maintain discipline among the operatives, and manage their performance appraisals.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma in engineering
  • •At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume, high-tech environment with knowledge of production concepts and techniques

  • •Strong analytical and resourceful mindset for identifying operation shortfalls to enhance efficiency
  • •Must be able to independently manage assigned shift operations
