Key Responsibilities

  • •Gather, manipulate, and review data to prepare sales and use tax returns across U.S. states and Canada.
  • •Support indirect tax audits, refund claims, and responses to tax authorities; resolve tax notices.
  • •Conduct technical research related to sales and use tax and other indirect tax matters.
  • •Create audit-defense processes; validate tax engine configurations and calculation results.
  • •Maintain tax calendar and documentation, manage sales tax exemption certificates, and improve processes through automation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in accounting, tax, real estate, finance, or other business disciplines.
  • •7+ years of experience as an indirect tax professional in public accounting or at a large multinational company.
  • •Experience with MS Excel and tax research tools (RIA Checkpoint).
  • •Experience with sales and use tax compliance and consulting.
  • •Experience working across multiple states.
