Job Summary

Monitor egg candler/packing operations by removing poor-quality eggs from the machine and packing cartons, cases, racks, or trays. Ensure packed product meets USDA requirements and comply with USDA, GMP, SQF, HACCP, food defense, biosecurity, and safety programs. Maintain a clean, orderly work area, report mechanical issues and recurring packaging problems, assist with training, and complete additional tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor and remove poor quality eggs from the machine during operation.
•Pack good product efficiently, ensuring no missing eggs and that cartons/cases are correctly coded and labeled.
•Comply with USDA requirements and programs (GMP, SQF, HACCP, Food Defense, Biosecurity, and Plant Procedures).
•Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow all safety rules and policies.
•Report mechanical problems or poor quality conditions to Plant Leads/Supervisors/Maintenance and assist with training as needed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 15 - 17 hourly

•No prior experience and/or training required.
•Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
