Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, coach, and scale a team of functional leads covering Partnerships/Royalty, Money/Engineering Compliance, and Issue Resolution.
  • •Provide primary fiduciary/compliance oversight to ensure usage-related, financially impacting processes are accurate, complete, SOX-compliant, and validated prior to billing and revenue conversion.
  • •Own partner royalty reporting, execution, and reconciliations, eliminating manual operational risks and contract-period attribution issues.
  • •Partner with Engineering (Money team) and Finance Data Systems (FDS) to validate metering, pricing models, SKU additions, and billing logic before product launches.
  • •Serve as primary audit lead for platform consumption calculations and monetization structures; oversee remediation and RCA to prevent systemic metering bugs.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 160,000 - 275,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related technical field; CPA license preferred.
  • •12+ years of relevant experience including revenue accounting, IT audit, and SOX control frameworks.
  • •Familiarity with ASC 606 for consumption-based/usage-based revenue models and SaaS, including complex partner royalty agreements.
  • •Proven experience managing managers or functional leads, collaborating with executive leadership and external auditors.
  • •Ability to bridge technical systems (product metering engines, SQL/data pipelines, sub-ledgers) with accounting rules and contract terms.
