Key Responsibilities

  • •Own CMP process characterization and advanced process development for 3D NAND and beyond.
  • •Develop and transfer CMP processes to high-volume manufacturing (Fab10N) and drive continuous manufacturability improvements.
  • •Address process issues with Fab10N and partners, including tool choice evaluations and related assessments.
  • •Use failure analysis and quality methods (FMEA, 8D, SPC/FDC) to diagnose and resolve assembly/process problems and improve process margins.
  • •Lead complex, multi-functional projects for process monitoring/control, experiments to widen margins, and technical guidance to management, including IP-aligned innovation via patents/technical papers.

Key Requirements

  • •PhD, or Master’s (≥3 yrs), or Bachelor’s (≥5 yrs) in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • •Experience with CMP polishing equipment such as AMAT or EBARA.
  • •Working knowledge of data analysis systems (e.g., Y3) to analyze experimental data.
  • •Working knowledge of Design of Experiments (DoE).
  • •Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and ability to collaborate across local and overseas teams while managing multiple projects.
