Support end-to-end revenue cycle operations, including resolving patient billing tickets, managing claim workflows, and handling denials, patient responsibility questions, and insurance coverage verification. Work cross-functionally with Clinical Ops, Payer Ops, Customer Experience, and Product to streamline RCM processes, develop and maintain SOPs, and escalate complex cases. Help evaluate AI-powered billing automation and contribute feedback as new service lines and payer contracts expand.

Key Responsibilities

•Resolve a high volume of patient-facing and internal billing questions, including denials, patient responsibility inquiries, and insurance coverage verification.
•Process claims end-to-end via the clearinghouse while partnering with stakeholders to ensure a smooth billing experience for patients and providers.
•Streamline RCM processes by recommending automation or new tools and maintaining consistent, reliable execution.
•Support ad-hoc RCM projects including payer-specific billing efforts and new service line expansions.
•Develop and maintain SOPs for RCM workflows, flagging process gaps, escalating complex cases, and collaborating on AI-powered billing automation.

Key Requirements

•2+ years of experience in a revenue cycle, medical billing, or healthcare operations role.
•Familiarity with insurance billing workflows, including claim submission, denial management, ERA reconciliation, and payer communications.
•Patient-first communication skills to de-escalate billing concerns while keeping issues moving.
•Highly organized, detail-oriented follow-through to take tasks through to completion.
•Energy for technology and automation, including shaping how AI-powered billing tools are built and used.
