Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure a safe work environment by following company safety policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations using required equipment and PPE.
  • •Assist construction/paving/plant crews with labor tasks such as shoveling, raking, running wheelbarrows, and general support duties.
  • •Safely signal construction equipment operators to facilitate alignment and movement of materials.
  • •Maintain traffic control in work zones, including directing movement of traffic with sign/hand/flag signals and handling detours.
  • •Perform daily pre- and post-inspections with appropriate documentation and assist with minor equipment servicing/maintenance as needed.
