Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain safety and security of assigned areas using required procedures and checklists.
  • •Secure and protect personnel and property per post orders until properly relieved; comply with instructions.
  • •Report violations, unusual events, and alarms in cases of disorder or emergency.
  • •Respond to emergencies, maintain order, and take reasonable counteraction to save life and property while staying alert for other violations.
  • •Monitor entry and egress locations, scan badges of personnel on designated posts, and conduct continuous physical surveillance and daily security operations.

Key Requirements

  • •U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain required clearances/certifications, including a DHS ICE clearance.
  • •21 years of age or older.
  • •High school diploma or GED.
  • •1+ year of experience in an armed or unarmed security or law enforcement related profession (civilian or military), with honorable discharge or a related four-year degree substituting as noted.
  • •Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English; intermediate written English for detailed reports and forms; must pass background investigations and government suitability checks.
